The Carleton Place Gallery opened its doors on August 23, 2023, in the heart of downtown Carleton Place, at 210 Bridge St. In January 2025, under new ownership and direction, the studio was renovated to incorporate a dedicated exhibition space. Located adjacent to the main gallery, this intimate venue has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate both solo and group exhibitions. The space offers 66 linear feet of wall display, a 43" wide wall facing both inside and outside the window (not shown on floorplan), and 343 square feet of floor area, in addition to a washroom, storage, and laundry tub. To support professional presentation, the exhibition space is equipped with specialized lighting, a secure hanging system, a Vernissage rolling countertop, and an independent after-hours entrance. Supplementary resources—including 2’x7’ display grids, folding chairs, a couple of plinths and six-foot tables—are also available to exhibitors. Directly connected to the main gallery, the exhibition space provides exhibitors with the distinct advantage of visibility to the gallery’s established clientele and daily visitors. This venue represents an ideal setting for pop-up exhibitions, curated showcases, and professional art presentations.

Exhibiting artists are required to provide promotional materials, including three 8.5" x 11" posters, and any desired handouts, and are responsible for organizing their own vernissage. The Gallery will promote each exhibition through its website and social media platforms and requests that artists do the same.
