The Carleton Place Gallery opened its doors on August 23, 2023, in the heart of downtown Carleton Place, at 210 Bridge St. In January 2025, under new ownership and direction, the studio was renovated to incorporate a dedicated exhibition space.
Located adjacent to the main gallery, this intimate venue has been thoughtfully designed to accommodate both solo and group exhibitions. The space offers 66 linear feet of wall display and 343 square feet of floor area, in addition to a washroom, storage, and laundry tub.
To support professional presentation, the exhibition space is equipped with specialized lighting, a secure hanging system, a Vernissage rolling countertop, and an independent after-hours entrance. Supplementary resources—including 2’x7’ display grids, folding chairs, and six-foot tables—are also available to exhibitors.
Directly connected to the main gallery, the exhibition space provides exhibitors with the distinct advantage of visibility to the gallery’s established clientele and daily visitors. This venue represents an ideal setting for pop-up exhibitions, curated showcases, and professional art presentations.

The Carleton Place Gallery is now accepting proposals for its 2026 exhibition schedule. Artists residing within 75 km of Carleton Place are invited to apply for consideration.
We welcome submissions from fine artists at all stages of their careers and encourage a wide range of artistic voices, mediums, and forms of expression. Proposals may be submitted by individual artists or by groups of two or more. Artists will be evaluated equally based on criteria expectations and adherence to the gallery standards and guidelines.  See below.
All decisions by the gallery will be final.
Applicants are asked to indicate three preferred exhibition dates. Should these dates be unavailable, the Gallery will work collaboratively with the artist(s) to determine a suitable alternative. Please note that, on occasion, workshops may take place in the studio during exhibitions if the floor space is not in use.
Exhibiting artists are required to provide promotional materials, including two laminated 8.5" x 11" posters, one non-laminated poster, and any desired handouts, and are responsible for organizing their own vernissage. The Gallery will promote each exhibition through its website and social media platforms and requests that artists do the same.
All sales will be processed through the Gallery, subject to HST and a 35% commission on works sold during, or as a direct result of, the exhibition.
