Gordon Wright is an artist from Ottawa, Ontario who began painting in 1966 and renders bright coloured oils and watercolours in a minimalistic style that is instantly recognizable by his happy, wonky shaped and cozy clustered whimsical buildings that seem to take on a character all their own.
This current collection, as always, is inspired by my intrinsic natural positive spirit and flows from a basic pencil sketch to the characters and the feelings on the canvas.
