Having Fun with
Acrylic Mixed Media

This 4 week class will allow you to explore several mixed media techniques while having fun and expressing your inner thoughts and feelings.
I will facilitate several starting points for your projects.
Participants will experiment with acrylic paint, modeling paste, collaged materials and photo transfers.
You will create textures using stenciling, stamping and printing patterns as a base for your design.
Violeta’s Bio
Violeta was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has a degree in Architecture from the University of Buenos Aires and Visual Arts from the Ottawa School of Art.
Violeta is a mixed media artist exploring the urban landscape of the big cities.
In the several last years her work has evolved into a more geometric abstract style showing a strong influence of her background as an Architect.
Violeta is also a jewelry designer working primarily in sterling silver and fresh water pearls in a contemporary style. Some of her pieces are at the Ottawa Art Gallery Boutique.
Violeta is represented by Carleton Place Gallery and Studio87 Gallery(Perth).
