The Kanata Civic art Gallery is an artist run cooperative in partnership with the City of Ottawa. The Gallery, located in the Mlacak Centre in Kanata has been in existence for over 30 years giving local artists the opportunity to present and sell their work to the public. All of the more than 40 current artist members have been juried into the gallery on the quality and originality of their work. A wide variety of art from paintings, textile art, photography and sculpture are represented.
In this exhibit “ Farther Afield “ the Kanata gallery is branching out to create a gallery within a gallery to increase the exposure to our artists and expand the awareness of our gallery’s existence to a broader range of artists and art lovers.
