Join Anne Warburton in an exciting Botanical Gelli Printing and Bookmaking Workshop. Learn the art of botanical gelli printing by creating stunning gel plate prints using leaves, stems, and other natural materials, and experimenting with various papers, colours, and compositions. During the second half of the workshop, we will craft a simple book and select your favourite prints to feature. By the end of the session, you will leave with a beautiful handmade book showcasing your unique gel print creations.
Fee includes some materials. The instructor will provide marking materials, some acrylics, papers and other substrates, cleanup supplies, and bookmaking supplies. Participants need to bring a gelli plate (mot Speedball brand) and a brayer (2, 3, or 4"). Optional supplies to bring include acrylic paints and a variety of papers to print on. A 6x6 gelli plate may be purchased for an additional $20 if supplies permit.
